In 1975 a young lad in Dartford wanted to start Karting, his dad who owned a Cafe decided that it was too expensive and saw a business opportunity to start supplying spare parts as a sideline. The business grew and took over half of the Cafe premises until in 1981 they stopped serving tea and coffee altogether; Dartford Karting was now a major player in the UK market.
